We cannot say enough good things about Las Palmas. It is in a prefect location. The whole property is spectacular with it's gardens, villas, casitas and views of two bays. You are surrounded in beauty! The staff was excellent and extremely customer service oriented. This place is ideal for our small family of three or even better for larger groups that want a person touch to their trip. “

Dear Courtney and Talina,
Well the honeymoon is over and we leave today to Canada. I wanted to take this time to give you my most sincere thanks and praise for our time at Las Palmas.
The experience was simply fantastic for us and for all our guests. Obviously Las Palmas itself is a beautiful resort, and the casitas and villas were perfect for our family and friends. But what makes Las Palmas special is the staff, and it is the staff who made our time so wonderful.
First, Talina. I met Talina in April when I was visiting Huatulco. Since that first meeting she has been incredibly helpful, warm, friendly, professional, and terrific to work with. She arranged to take me to the caterer, the cake baker, and the florist. She served as the wedding planner and coordinated all the details of the ceremony. I am very grateful for her warm, friendly help and support. I think the owners of Las Palmas are very lucky to have her as manager and I look forward to seeing her each and every time we return to Las Palmas.
Next, the concierges. Omar and Oscar were delightful. They both went above and beyond in their efforts to assist our guests with excursions, restaraunt recommendations, etc. They are both terrific at their jobs and we so enjoyed their personalities and sense of humor.
For the wedding itself, I want to emphasize how great the staff were with the set up and coordination of the ceremony. We chose to have three areas for the wedding - the ceremony on the top of Dolphin, the dinner at Rising Sun pool, and the epic dance party at the Palapa. The staff handled the setups so well. We had seem special Buddhist prayer flags from Tibet and they helped hang them and decorate the wedding venue. The next day they lovingly took the flags down and places them in our room tied in beautiful bundles. All these small details show the kindness, professionalism, and exceptional training he staff have. We also decided to have a special cocktail made for the ceremony. The staff and bartender did a wonderful job of creating these and staging them at the top of Dolphin. Omar made sure the correct music played at the end of the ceremony. All those details were handled beautifully.
We also appreciated Talina’s suggestion for Margarueta to do a sit down wedding dinner. We did not want a buffet for the wedding but the caterers were quite expensive. The Las Palmas cooks did a great job of making our preferred meal, Chicken Mole. The food as simple but delicious, which is just what we wanted.
The food for the whole week was great. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. And the staff was so flexible and helpful - when we requested to add another dinner at the last minute they were able to do so.
We hosted 30 guests up at Las Palmas and had a total of 47 for the wedding itself. And I am very happy to report that our guests have all expressed that they would like to return. I expect you will see Richard and I and many of our friends and family at the villas in the years to come. So this one wedding should generate a lot of business for Las P in the future…and again, much of that repeat business is because of the friendly, excellent service we received from the staff.
